The procedure
How does full-arch treatment work?
An entire arch of teeth is fixed onto four or more titanium implants placed into the jawbone. Because the implants share the load, a provisional arch can often be fitted to them on the same day rather than after a long healing period.
The back implants are usually placed at an angle to make best use of available bone at the back of the jaw, which can reduce the need for bone grafting.
